Return & Refund Policy

Chief Custom Parts

All products sold by Chief Custom Parts are aftermarket, specialty automotive parts. Due to the nature of these products, please review our policy carefully before purchasing.


All Sales Final Policy

All sales are considered final unless otherwise approved in writing by Chief Custom Parts.

Because many of our products are made to order, specialty items, or limited production parts, we do not accept general returns.


Return Eligibility (Exceptions Only)

Returns may only be approved under the following conditions:

  • Item was incorrectly shipped by us

  • Item arrived damaged in transit

All return requests must be submitted within 5 business days of delivery.

Requests submitted after 5 business days will be denied.


Strict Return Requirements

If a return is approved:

  • Item must be new, unused, and uninstalled

  • Item must be in original packaging

  • No drilling, sanding, painting, or modification

  • No test fitting that causes marks or scratches

  • Customer must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before shipping

Any product showing signs of installation, modification, or damage will be refused and returned at the customer’s expense.


Fiberglass & Body Kit Disclaimer

Fiberglass and aftermarket body parts may require:

  • Professional installation

  • Prep work, sanding, trimming, and adjustment

  • Painting before installation

Minor surface imperfections are normal and are not considered defects.

Professional installation is strongly recommended.


Shipping Costs

  • Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless the error was ours

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable

  • Approved non-defective returns (if any) may be subject to a 25%–35% restocking fee

Large freight shipments are especially costly and will not be refunded once shipped.


Damaged Shipments (Freight Orders)

For freight deliveries:

  • Customer must inspect product at time of delivery

  • Damage must be noted on the delivery receipt

  • Failure to document freight damage voids damage claims

Photos must be submitted within 24 hours.


Order Cancellations

  • Orders may be canceled only before processing or production begins

  • Once shipped, orders cannot be canceled

  • Custom or special-order items cannot be canceled under any circumstances


Chargebacks & Disputes

Customers agree to contact Chief Custom Parts first to resolve any issue before filing a chargeback. Filing a false chargeback may result in additional fees and collection action.
